Have you noticed that most fertilizers sold in the market are granular?BB blending fertilizer is made of granular fertilizer materials, so the finished product is granular and understandable.However, urea, diammonium and other single-use fertilizers and compound fertilizers why use the granulating equipment to make them into particles at extra labor and cost?Regarding this question, the concept of powder and particle must be clarified first.In essence, powder and particles are solid matter in the form of particles, which are just divided into powdery and granular particles according to the size of particle size by human's visual ability and habit.Usually, powdery is a collection of tiny particles that cannot be distinguished by the naked eye, while granular is a larger particle size that can be distinguished one by one by the naked eye.Therefore, particle size is often used to distinguish powdery and granular materials.The boundary of powder and granule is about 0.1mm.Particles with particle size below 0.1mm are called powder, particles with particle size between 0.1mm and 20mm are called particles, and large particles with particle size beyond 20mm are mostly called lumps.In fact, most types of fertilizers come in the form of powder or tiny crystals after the synthesis.If no granulation is carried out, the final product is mostly powder with particle size less than 0.1mm or small crystal with particle size less than 1mm.However, powdered fertilizers are not suitable for storage, marketing and application.In order to make fertilizer more convenient to use in agricultural production, improve the effect of fertilizer and reduce production cost, fertilizer manufacturers specially make fertilizer into granule and sell it for use.Granular and powdery substances of the same substance have no difference in chemical composition, but their physical properties are quite different.
